UNITED BY ONE WINDS DOWN SERVICE... (2 Apr 09)
In what will no doubt have a significant impact on UK gospel news publishing, hugely popular news and community portal United By One winds down its operations by the end of April 2009.

Directors James Freeman and Chantal Daniels obviously have a well rounded sense of humour, announcing the final farewell on April 1st. Both of them will be pursuing new interests and skills, but I've no doubt they'll be back in some shape or form very soon.

The UK scene is definitely losing a major player from its media landscape, as both James and Chantal's efforts not only invigorated the UK scene but raised the bar in terms of quality reporting on an industry I still consider to be one of the most exciting in the world.

To end I'll say in public what I've always said in private: guys, I salute you. Your effort and legacy will leave a vacuum that will be difficult to fill...

MYSPACE RAISES TRACK UPLOAD LIMIT FROM 6 TO 10 (4/Apr/09)
If you have an artist account on MySpace.com you would have received an email from the ubiquitous Tom yesterday, with the welcome news that you can now upload up to 10 tracks to your profile.

MySpace has been losing ground to Facebook in recent months as the social network of choice, and how much of an impact this new allowance will have remains to be seen...

SHARON ROSE WINS MSN UNSIGNED PODCAST FOR MARCH (5/Apr/09)

COMMISSION RETURN TO THE STUDIO (5/Apr/09)
