If you're locked into the right social
feeds there's no way you've missed
the buzz around David B's new
single from his upcoing EP #CATJ

I've been very impressed with both his
work rate and the effort he puts into
pretty much every track he sings on.

It also doesn't hurt that he has an
excellent voice too.

Personal, Moving Documentary and Music Video

In the run-up to the release of Ijo Ya, David put out a very moving, highly personal 3-Chapter documentary, 'I'm Still Here', highlighting his life's highs and lows and how music has played a key part in helping him through very tough times indeed (see them all below).

Ijo Ya

'Ijo Ya' ('Time to Dance') is the lead from his forthcoming EP 'Care About The Journey' (popularly known as #CATJ, itself released this month).

While typical of the trend of younger artists offering a very contemporary take on the Gospel message, Ijo Ya goes step further by merging a strong Electro/Pop sound with his Yoruba heritage language on the hook, an upbeat switch from the usual smooth output David has become known for.

'Inspire the World'

David B says his aim is to inspire the world with great melodies and uplifting messages.
He's teamed up with producers - Upmost Music, and writing partner - Fola (together known as Pensouls), to make Ijo Ya, a welcome addition to the impressively diverse UK Gospel music industry output

'I'm Still Here' (Chapter 1 - I Am)

'I'm Still Here' (Chapter 2 - Bitter Sweet)

'I'm Still Here' (Chapter 3 - Legend)
