They may have called it a day in 2011, but that didn't stop GreenJade from giving away an anniversay project to celebrate a decade of Christian Hip-hop...

  Between 1996 and 2010 GreenJade
pioneered Christian Hip Hop in the UK,
with the likes of Jahaziel and Dwayne
Tryumf coming out of the crew.

Their reach was truly international, and
they worked with the likes of American
groups The Procussions, Braille and the
Tunnel Rats over their 14 year career.

Locally they crossed barriers, working in both
  Black and White Christian circles.

10th Anniversary

January 31st 2012 will be the 10th anniversary of the release of their first album "Chronicles: The Story So Far..." arguably only the third full album release in UK Christian rap history. Chronicles was the first Christian rap album signed to a major UK Christian label, Kingsway music's then Urban Music imprint, OTR Records.

GreenJade's hard work over the years, plus their profile and respect within the UK gospel Hip-hop fraternity inspired and opened the door for many UK artists coming through .

To commemorate the anniversary and also in light of a recent article on the history of Christian music in the UK on US-based Rapzilla website GreenJade have offered our final album, 'Movement To Progress' as a free download for 4 weeks only.

Movement To Progress includes the singles 'Fathers Day', 'Clap'Em Clap' (ft. Tryumf) and 'Good Bye'.

I really didn't want my picture here, but I'm bowing to pressure.
