That's really all I have to say :-)
Born and raised in London, England and the first of 7 siblings,
Ted took to singing at a very early age and has been leading worship for over 20 years.
His parents were devout Anglican Church goers and heavily involved in church life so it was no surprise that he took a keen interest in the church choir.
In The Beginning...
As he grew up, Ted’s walk with the Lord took a downward toil and his lifestyle became one of night clubs, smoking and drinking.
After years of trying to find himself and finally getting back into church, Ted became part of the London Evangelical Choir and soon afterwards began leading worship at his local church and other smaller events.
Ted has since been part of various set ups and church ministries were he has had the privilege of continuing his call as a worship leader.
Tangible God
'I remember listening to the likes of Ron Kenoly, Bobb Fitts, Don Moen and a few others back in the day, but listening to Don Moen in particular lead worship made God tangible for me, it was almost as though God was right there and I could sense him and almost touch him.
That, is what I long to do, letting everybody - Christians & non Christians alike - know and understand that God is here with us, never too far away and together experience a unique relationship with him.
I love God, He is everything to me, most times words cannot really express the way I feel about Him and this makes it easy for me to want to spend time doing what I have been called to do.
Enjoying Worship
I enjoy being a Worship leader and would love to continue being one when I get to heaven but in the meantime whilst I am still here on earth, I’ll enjoy doing it with everything I’ve got.
There is something about being in God’s presence that transforms us into somebody else and at that point in time it’s almost as though we become one with the Father.
The EP
The long-awaited EP, 'You are The One’, was
released 30th November 2011.
With over 50 songs composed and written, the
project had been in the pipe line for a very long
time.
I had lived with the dream for so many years of
doing one of these, I talked about it for years and
months and even danced and shouted about it.
But deep down inside me I was clearly afraid of the unknown and wasn’t too sure if I should or shouldn’t and the fear of it kept me bound.
It’s amazing what fear does to us but I am grateful that the gifts God gives us are without repentance. So this project is an expression of my heart and how I feel about God and in addition an expression of the freedom that I have in Christ.
“I think folks will be pleasantly surprised, so I am not going to give too much away”
My desire is to praise him & tell of his goodness so for the future I see us doing more of these probably a live album at some point but most important of all my aim is to be a sign post to Christ and continue to spread God’s love wherever he takes me not another household name
