JesusLoveMeWorld.com launched exactly 3 hours and 53 minutes ago.
Yes, it's almost 4:00am on Christmas day. Founder Ronke Adekanmbi, announced the launch of the new website for midnight today.
JesusLovesMe was birthed in 2007 after Ronke, a graduate from London's Queen Mary University, wore a t-shirt professing her belief. 'After occasionally wearing the t-shirt, it was apparent that it was a statement that many people wanted to exclaim'... said Ronke.
Collaborations and sponsorships followed: Adlib, Faith Child’s album Launch, a high profile endorsement deal with Guvna B and the Finesse Fashion Show being a few of the many JesusLovesMe developments.
The range previously retailed via its MySpace store, at live events and even secured distribution through one of the UK’s most notable Christian channels, Wesley Owen.
Rebrand
A tongue-in-cheek campaign on Facebook also saw the holding company rebrand itself from JLM Clothing, to the more expressive JesusLovesMe
Giveaways
To celebrate the launch of the site, it will give away free goodies for the first 25 orders. There will also be discounts on launch day, and regular competitions throughout the year.
'Fashion Conscious and Faithful...'
The press release says the JesusLovesMe World website 'allows the fashion conscious and faithful to purchase clothing from the new JesusLovesMe range and also view inspiring and animated blogs dedicated to fashion, faith, music and life'.
There will also be special features and surprise gifts from many artists from the UK gospel scene.
'This is only the beginning', Ronke says. 'Our goal is to ensure that we keep JesusLovesMe trendy, individual and creative. JesusLovesMe – derived from the simple yet poignant statement.
It’s beautiful that one can say Jesus Loves Me without an explanation or reason'...
