L.O.V.E. OUT THIS WEEK (4 July 2009)
Sharon Rose releases her fun and appealing debut single, L.O.V.E, to digital mainstream media outlets on Monday 6th July. L.O.V.E is a clever and fun mix of R&B and soul that gives a nod to 80's pop, held together by a sweet pop melody, an infectious hook and a heartfelt ode to the concept of love.

JOFISH AND IDMC READY THE BIGGEST LINE UP OF UK ARTISTS SPANNING TWO DECADES OF UK GOSPEL HISTORY (4 July 2009)
The 13th - 17th of July witnesses the biggest cross-genre and cross-generational gathering of some of the best artists ever to come out of the UK gospel scene in the last 20 years.

FRED HAMMOND AND MARVIN SAPP RETURN FOR GOSPEL SUMMER JAM (4 July 2009)
Two of the world's best gospel writers and vocalists are in London and Birmingham soon. M-Brio Music and Busy B's bring both Fred and Marvin to the UK late July and early August.

SAYO REVEALS 'WHO KILLED MIGHTY & SEYI' (4 July 2009)
If you're a music fan, you probably know him as 'Mighty' from Mighty & Seyi, the duo that brought you 'Seek Ye First'. Since that release only a few months ago, Mighty and Seyi have stopped recording as a duo.

BRIAN TEMBA ANNOUNCES ALBUM RELEASE (5 July 2009)
Ex Lion King lead and singer-songwriter Brian Temba's album will be released on the 24th of July 2009 first in South Africa and shortly afterwards with an official UK release in August. The mainly Acoustic/Soulful/RnB-driven set produced by industry veteran Steve Campbell has already enjoyed an excellent response off the back of a tightly focused but consistent promotional run in recent months...

GOSPEL REVUE GOES ANTIPODEAN (8 July 2009)
'The Gospel Revue', the TV magazine show produced by London-based Stomp Media and showcasing both international and UK artists is now broadcast in Australia, airing on The Australian Christian Channel thrice weekly and in New Zealand on Shine TV twice weekly.
The show currently also airs in the UK on: UCBtv, LoveWorld TV and KICCtv on the Sky platform.
TRANSFORMERS - FUNDRAISER CONCERT (12 July 2009)
Fund raiser event - 12 Aug 09, in which all the proceeds go towards the completion of a community centre in South London. Donations via purchasing tickets, raffles and American auction will provide excluded children with education, counselling for married couples, single parents and the general public.
GOSPEL URBAN BEATS OFFERS JBL SHOW AS A MAGAZINE PODCAST (14 July 2009)

Brian's excellent, acoustically-driven 'Dominoes', produced by Steve Campbell, has been nominated in two categories ('newcomer' and 'RnB video') for this year's Channel O Music Video Awards, one of the biggest music award ceremonies in Africa
NEW S.O. TRACK GETS GREAT RESPONSE (19 July 2009)
Seun Otukpe AKA S.O. put out his new track ‘Love Is’ last week. Theology student S.O. has been around for a while, performing at events and festivals all around the world. Closely linked with label Preacher Boy Music, S.O. has featured on tracks with leading artists like Jahaziel, New Direction Crew, G.P, E Tizz and a whole host of other UK artists.
Love Is comes out ahead of a new E.P with US Music Producer Brian ‘BattleAxe’ Shepherd entitled ‘Bridgin’ the Gap’, available for download in August
US ARTISTS TWO-DATE TOUR THE UK THIS WEEK (19 July 2009)
Ragtime music and New Direction Crew are partnering with Lampmode Recordings and The Jason Harms Quintet to bring two nights of live Hiphop and Jazz. Shai Linne (pictured), Dj Essence and The Jason Harms Quintet are in London with appearances from Karl Nova, DJ K, Cadet and Joe See.

Faith-based youth culture magazine website, STREETBRAND, has announced that it will relaunch its Christian teen and youth magazine in print.
The magazine will hit selected shops in August 2009 with a new format and design. Aimed at 14 to 22 year olds, the all new glossy, full colour, handbag sized STREETBRAND Magazine will be published three times a year and will cover everything from God and faith to music, culture and entertainment, life, relationships, career, lifestyle, advice and more.
