17 year old rapper puts out newest single

J Vessel is a 17 year old rapper with

a passion to touch the lives of his
fellow young people with the release
of 'Amazing Love' on March 1, 2014.

He released his debut single
'More of You' last year, and as a result,
was invited to minister at a number of
events across the UK.

He then took a break from music to
focus on studying for his GCSE exams
and is now in the first year of study for
his A levels.

Ministry in Music

With a strong desire to pursue a ministry in music, as well as work with young people, J Vessel has been invited to minister at a number of events in the next few months, including leading summer festivals Big Church Day Out and New Day.

The video was shot at the secondary school J Vessel currently attends in North London, where he is studying for his A-Levels. The cast is made up of mostly friends from his school and his church youth group.

Agape Love

J Vessel: "I’m currently studying Religious Studies at A Levels and a man named Joseph Fletcher believed that Jesus had “Agape Love” for the world, and that this was displayed when he laid down his life for mankind on the cross.

Now for the rest of us to have that kind of love for one another sounds ridiculous – “I mean Jesus was the son of God J, you can’t expect to be like like him!” But here’s the funny thing, because of Jesus’ remarkable acts 2000 years ago, we’re all sons of God (and if you’re not you can choose to be!)

So I believe that as young people it may be the hardest time to spread amazing love to everyone we meet, even if they’ve done us wrong, but let’s be a generation of love and have fun while doing it, we can do it!"
