Premier Christian Media's London-based
Premier Christian Radio received its latest
London RAJAR results which confirmed a steadily growing audience with hours listened increasing by 17% over the prior quarter.
This is due to both more listeners but also an increase in intensity of listenership,
Premier’s commitment to DAB digital radio both in London and Nationally has meant that its audience has benefited from clear reception and convenience of listening.
Charmaine Noble-McLean, Director of Content at Premier, was pleased by the latest data said:
“We are really encouraged by our recent figures and can see that changes to some of our programming are being well received.
For example, Premier Drive broadcast on weekdays between 3 and 6 p.m. focusing on the best of Christian music. We're getting really positive feedback from our new national audience who are now able to receive some of the best Christian programmes in the UK on DAB.
We thank our listeners for their continued prayers and support for the work Premier is trying to do!”
This year Premier celebrated its fifteenth year of broadcasting having begun in London in 1995 and now nationally on Sky digital, Freeview and National DAB.
RAJAR is the Radio Joint Audience Research, the official body in charge of measuring radio audiences in the UK.
