See You Dance (Club Mix)
See You Dance (Deep House Remix)
See You Dance (Afropop Mix)
Published 27 January 2014
UK /Europe acclaimed Dance and Afrobeat producer and songwriter Whytepatch (who recently had urban chart success with gospel nominees gospel posse Nu Starr II’s “Open Heavens fT. Sneakbo”), recruits and introduces the gorgeous and talented singer/songwriter Andriah Arrindell
on this new “See You Dance, Dance” club cut.
The single produced by Whytepatch, showcases the sultry and fabulous soprano sound of Andriah, and also a brilliant 2 Step mix from Trusub which is rapidly gaining support from both the pirate and underground scene – Dejavu, Pulse, Freak FM, Push and Pull Show.
The single promises to be a hit with many more re-mixes to come from high profile producers. This tune only provides a snippet of what is yet to come in 2014 from the high profile collaborative effort between Whytepatch and Andriah Arrindell.
The East London based Andriah is no stranger to the music scene as she has been singing professionally since the age of 17 performing at top venues supporting
H. Town, Alexander O'Neal and many more.
At 19 she moved to New York City and started auditioning very quickly and worked with Colombia records on some projects. She then sang with "Mama I Want to Sing" "Gospel Is" off Broadway, which was a great experience and where she found the amazing soprano sound.
Then from there she sang with the Harlem Gospel Choir and worked with Nona Hendryx of The group Labelle.
In 2003 she moved back to the UK and joined the London Community Gospel Choir. She performed on the music hall of fame in 2005 with Aretha Franklin and Jamie Cullum, performed with Madonna at Live 8 2005 and also did studio work for Julian Lennon.
The same year she also sang onstage with Kim Burrell at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2005 also which was so amazing.
Andriah was a backing singer for Shola Ama for two years and supported De La Soul at the Jazz Cafe in 2007. She has performed on Blue Peter and Glastonbury and other top venues in Britain.
Touring and Travelling
She is a seasoned traveller and has toured around Europe whilst supporting other choirs and on her own solo projects. Andriah is brilliant songwriter and writes her own music.
Her singing experience and music craft earned her a three years record deal in the past where one track called "Love me love me not" was released. The track had more success with the house mixes in Europe and Stateside.
As part of promoting the track, she performed in Cyprus, New York, Italy and in London at Cafe de Paris for the Footballers Association Ball.
Notably, she also performed at the Obama Inauguration event at Inter-continental Hotel Park Lane with Kelly Rowland and Mica Paris.
Now surrounded with a formidable management team, her heart is focused on completing an album and continuing to support the CK Gospel Choir which in her own words she says, “I am loving every minute of it”.
